AWS DevSecOps Senior Engineer

Location: Portugal; hybrid work with attendance in Braga twice a week

What you will do

• Provision and manage AWS cloud resources using AWS CDK and CloudFormation.
• Design workflow automation with AWS Step Functions for multi-step cloud processes.
• Develop automation scripts, Lambda functions, and CDK constructs in Python and TypeScript.
• Automate pipelines, configure environments, and handle operational tasks with Shell and Bash.
• Embed security controls and compliance checks into AWS CI/CD workflows.
• Monitor, analyze, and optimize AWS cloud spending using FinOps practices.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience as an AWS DevSecOps Engineer.
• Experience with AWS CDK, CloudFormation, Step Functions, Python, TypeScript, Shell, and Bash.
• Applied knowledge of DevSecOps principles and AWS CI/CD security controls.
• Fluent English at C1 level.
• Native Portuguese proficiency required.
• Based in Portugal with Portuguese or EU citizenship, or a valid work permit.
