Engineer (Python/Go/Rust)

Location: Fully remote, with flexible hours and work from anywhere in the world. Listed locations include Madrid, Lisbon, Belgrade, Sofia, and Warsaw.

What you will do

• Design, build, and operate automated pipelines that transform threat intelligence into validated and deployed WAF protection.
• Develop progressive release automation with controlled rollouts, automated quality gates, blast-radius limits, and rollback mechanisms.
• Turn multi-stage batch jobs into resumable, idempotent, observable systems with explicit state machines and recovery paths.
• Define latency budgets and SLOs, and build metrics, dashboards, alerts, and health gates across the platform.
• Build CI validation using disposable environments across software versions and configurations, including tests for concurrency and partial failure.
• Investigate complex issues across ClickHouse, GitLab CI, S3 or object storage, Prometheus/Grafana, and third-party APIs.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional backend, platform, or infrastructure engineering experience.
• Production experience building and operating multi-stage data or automation pipelines.
• Strong expertise in at least one of Python, Go, or Rust.
• Experience with workflow orchestration and job scheduling, plus reliability patterns such as idempotency, retries, checkpointing, resumability, backpressure, and graceful degradation.
• Hands-on observability experience with Prometheus/Grafana, the LGTM stack, or an equivalent system.
• Deep CI/CD experience, preferably with GitLab CI, Docker, object storage, and ClickHouse or another columnar database.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.

Nice to have

• Experience with canary or percentage-based releases, feature flags, automated rollback, and blast-radius control.
• Production experience with AI/LLM systems, including evaluation, token accounting, and cost control.
• Experience with fleet-scale telemetry and quality gates based on noisy production signals.
• Familiarity with WordPress, PHP, WAF/ModSecurity, configuration management, or Linux service operations.
