AWS DevSecOps Senior Engineer – ATC (AWS)

Location: Braga, Portugal — hybrid, with 2 days per week at the Braga office

Salary: €2,800–€3,100 gross per month, including fixed and variable compensation, meal allowance, remote-work allowance and benefits.

What you will do

• Develop, modernise and operate business-critical digital solutions on AWS.
• Design, deploy and maintain scalable, secure and reliable cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code.
• Drive automation across build, testing, deployment, release and operational processes.
• Implement event-driven architectures, integrations and distributed systems with AWS Step Functions.
• Improve monitoring, logging, observability, incident management, availability, scalability and performance.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and technical roadmaps while leading and mentoring DevOps teams.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS and its CI/CD ecosystem, including CodeCommit, CodePipeline, CodeBuild and CodeDeploy.
• Strong experience with AWS CDK, CloudFormation, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, automation and cloud-native environments.
• Experience with Python and/or TypeScript, Shell/Bash scripting, Step Functions, FinOps and cloud modernisation.
• Experience with cloud security, DevSecOps, observability, incident management, integrations and distributed systems.
• Technical leadership, mentoring, analytical problem-solving and stakeholder-management skills.
• Portuguese at C2 level and English at C1 level required.

Nice to have

• Experience applying FinOps practices for AWS cost visibility and optimisation.
• Knowledge of AI-enabled solutions and intelligent automation for engineering and DevOps.
• Experience participating in architecture and technology leadership boards.
