Ruby on Rails Engineer (iGaming)

What you will do

• Investigate and fix product issues with the team.
• Identify root causes and prevent recurring incidents.
• Automate manual customer requests and routine operational tasks.
• Support and improve backend systems, internal tools, and technical workflows.
• Develop product knowledge and share expertise with the team.

Requirements

• 1+ year of development or L3 support experience.
• Strong Ruby and Ruby on Rails programming skills.
• Good SQL knowledge and understanding of modern web architecture and networking.
• Experience with Linux, Bash, and Git.
• Strong investigation, debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Intermediate or higher English and Russian, B1+. Awareness of modern AI tools.

Nice to have

• Experience with ELK, Sentry, Datadog, log files, and error traces.
• Experience with event streaming systems and message brokers.
• Experience with Kubernetes.
• Experience automating routine tasks with scripting, Jenkins, or Airflow.
• Experience with root cause analysis processes.
