Workday HRIS Lead Specialist (Workday)

Location: Hybrid, office-based in Leopardstown, Dublin 18, Ireland. Willingness to travel approximately 5% is required.

What you will do

• Oversee Workday HRIS operations and governance across HCM, Recruiting, Compensation, Absence, and Integrations.
• Act as the escalation point for complex L2/L3 cases and urgent issues affecting hiring, pay, or executive populations.
• Lead and support the functional HRIS team, guiding requirements assessment, configuration direction, testing, dependencies, and stakeholder alignment.
• Coordinate supplier statements of work, internal approvals, procurement, legal compliance, and active AMS and project SOWs.
• Manage release impact assessments, change evidence, deployment coordination, and post-release stabilization.
• Govern annual HR processes, Workday security and data reviews, access controls, and related leadership forums.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in information systems, human resources, business administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Extensive experience managing HR technology and major HR platforms such as Workday, SAP, or Oracle.
• Solid human resources experience with the ability to manage competing priorities and develop a team.
• Strong strategic thinking and the ability to align HR technology with business goals.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, including experience managing teams and cross-functional projects.
