Financial Controller – CTO Domain

Location: Manila, One Ayala Tower 2, Philippines

What you will do

• Review actuals and validate month-end close, planning, forecasts, and management reporting.
• Provide evidence-based commentary on performance, variances, risks, and opportunities.
• Challenge assumptions and explain financial movements to finance and CTO stakeholders.
• Own recurring and ad hoc financial control deliverables, ensuring timely and accurate outputs.
• Identify and resolve financial risks, data inconsistencies, control gaps, and process improvements.
• Support SOX reporting with accurate, timely, and audit-ready data and evidence.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in financial controlling, planning, and analysis.
• Experience working in complex, global matrix environments.
• Expertise in actuals reporting, month-end close, planning, forecasting, cost management, variance analysis, and financial commentary.
• Strong control mindset with the ability to validate financial movements and challenge inconsistencies.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, with strong ownership and follow-through.

Nice to have

• CPA, CMA, CFA, or a master’s degree.
• Experience in technology, shared services, banking, or multinational organizations.
• Experience with Hyperion, SmartView, Oracle EPM, Power BI, or Power Query.
