Associate / Vice President Acquisition Finance – DACH & Benelux (f/m/x)

Location: Frankfurt am Main, Germany. Hybrid working is available, with remote work subject to operational, regulatory, and legal requirements.

ING Wholesale Banking Germany provides corporate banking services, including structured financing through its Capital Markets & Advisory business.

What you will do

• Manage acquisition finance transaction processes from initial evaluation through execution.
• Own key workstreams, conduct financial and risk analyses, and support internal credit approval.
• Prepare client pitches and investor marketing materials, contribute to origination, and manage client relationships.
• Coordinate the syndication process with the Loan Syndicate team from start to finish.
• Support portfolio management, including amendments, waivers, and opportunities with existing clients.
• Review transaction documentation, negotiate key points with legal teams, and ensure regulatory compliance while mentoring junior colleagues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
• At least four years of professional experience, preferably in advisory, capital markets, or lending.
• Strong expertise in credit analysis and financial modelling.
• Ability to assess commercial, financial, and legal considerations in complex transaction structures and develop pragmatic solutions.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication, stakeholder management, organisational skills, and attention to detail.
• Fluent English is required; professional-level German is advantageous.
