Complex Injury Paralegal (Personal Injury Litigation): Supporting the progression of high-value, complex and catastrophic injury claims across Employers’ Liability, Public Liability and Road Traffic Accident cases with an accent on court documentation, expert coordination, medical evidence and claims administration. Focus on reviewing medical records and evidence, maintaining detailed case records, liaising with courts and claim participants, and conducting legal research.

What you will do
- Support the progression of high-value, complex and catastrophic injury claims from receipt of insurer papers through resolution.
- Prepare, file and serve court documents, and diarise court orders and hearing dates.
- Liaise with experts, counsel, insureds, witnesses and courts regarding conferences, joint settlement meetings, hearings, applications and consent orders.
- Arrange medical appointments, obtain medical and police records, and review medical records, photographs and surveillance footage.
- Maintain case management records covering experts, interim payments, offers and settlements, and arrange payments where required.
- Conduct legal research, handle general queries, and meet agreed performance and quality standards.
Requirements
- At least five GCSEs at grade 5 or above, or grades A–C, with an established interest in law through further education or legal experience.
- Experience of and understanding of the litigation process in a file-handling or assistant personal injury role covering Road Traffic Accident, Employers’ Liability or Public Liability matters.
- Good telephone, written communication, literacy and IT skills.
- Strong organisation, prioritisation and attention to detail, including the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Ability to work collaboratively and operate within the organisation’s shared values framework.
