Global Head of Planning & Resource Management

Location: Remote or office-based for candidates living in the US, Canada, UK, or Ireland; other countries may be considered. Listed office locations include Montreal, Dublin, Warsaw, Reading, and Blue Bell. Travel of up to 10% is required.

What you will do

• Define and lead the global workforce planning and resource management strategy.
• Own demand forecasting, capacity planning, resource deployment, and workforce analytics across delivery functions and geographies.
• Lead the enterprise-wide Headcount Approval Process and establish governance frameworks for workforce investments.
• Advise the CEO, Executive Leadership Team, Finance, and business presidents on capacity, productivity, delivery risk, and resource optimization.
• Drive transformation through process optimization, technology enablement, automation, and advanced analytics.
• Lead and develop a global organization of senior leaders and subject matter experts.

Requirements

• Extensive executive experience in workforce planning, capacity management, resource optimization, demand forecasting, and deployment strategy within complex global organizations.
• Experience influencing executive leadership teams, business presidents, and C-suite stakeholders.
• Significant experience with workforce governance, investment approval, resource allocation, or headcount management.
• Strong commercial, financial, analytical, strategic, communication, and influencing skills.
• Experience leading transformational change and building scalable workforce planning capabilities.
• Bachelor’s degree required; an advanced degree in Business, Finance, Operations, Economics, Human Resources, or a related field is preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience in CRO, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, consulting, or other professional services environments.
• Experience leading high-performing organizations through senior leaders in complex matrixed environments.
