Accountant - French Speaking

Location: Milan, Italy

Starting compensation: €37,800 + OTE bonus

hirify.global is a Fortune 500 global distributor of electronic components operating in an international environment.

What you will do

• Manage finance and accounting activities for the French entities of the hirify.global Group.
• Monitor daily financial operations and automated sales, purchasing, accounts receivable, and accounts payable processes.
• Manage non-trade accounts payable, journal entries, cash reporting, payment preparation, and financial records.
• Maintain fixed asset ledgers, payroll postings, month-end accruals, and intercompany and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare VAT returns, VAT reports, journal books, and other indirect tax filings in coordination with local tax and legal consultants.
• Support audits, resolve accounting issues, and improve finance processes and controls.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience in general and tax accounting.
• Fluent English, Italian, and French.
• Knowledge of bookkeeping, accounting principles, practices, and standards.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel and SAP.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with French GAAP and French laws and regulations.
