Accountant - French Speaking

Location: Milan, Italy; onsite, full-time

What you will do

• Monitor daily financial operations for the French entities of the hirify.global Group.
• Oversee automated sales, purchasing, accounts receivable, and accounts payable processes.
• Manage non-trade payables, journal entries, cash reporting, payment preparation, and payroll postings.
• Maintain fixed asset records, month-end accruals, intercompany reconciliations, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare VAT returns, VAT reports, journal books, and other indirect tax submissions with local tax and legal consultants.
• Coordinate with auditors and improve accounting processes, controls, and tools.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience in general and tax accounting.
• Proven experience in finance and accounting, including asset and payment processes.
• Fluent English, Italian, and French.
• Knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, and standards.
• Advanced Excel and SAP knowledge.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with French GAAP and French laws and regulations.
