What you will do

• Support capability planning, technology integration, program oversight, and sustainment for Fighter and Advanced Aircraft programs.
• Analyze warfighter requirements and advise capability-planning leadership on mission-critical needs.
• Develop requirements and acquisition approaches for potential materiel solutions, including early systems engineering and test and evaluation strategies.
• Assess technology and manufacturing maturity, lifecycle costs, risks, trade-offs, and system-of-systems capabilities.
• Prepare program status data and presentations for IPT meetings, Program Management Reviews, technical interchange meetings, working groups, and conferences.
• Coordinate relationships among program offices, government organizations, contractors, USAF commands, research organizations, and senior staff.

Requirements

• Active Secret security clearance.
• Master’s or doctorate in a related field plus 10 years of relevant technical or professional experience, including 5 years in the DoD; or a bachelor’s degree plus 12 years of experience, including 5 years in the DoD.
• Alternatively, 15 years of directly related experience with the required certifications, including 8 years in the DoD.
• Experience with program management, acquisition, logistics, maintenance, supply, financial management, testing, security management, information management, or contracting.
• USAF MAJCOM expertise, ideally at the HQ USAF, HQ ACC, or HQ AFGSC level.
