Supervisor, Manufacturing Engineering (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Design and deliver structured training through classroom instruction, on-the-job training, and blended learning.
• Facilitate new-hire orientation, onboarding, role-specific certification, cross-functional training, and annual competency recertification.
• Develop and standardize training materials, work instructions, competency assessments, certification criteria, and training documentation.
• Support new product introductions, new equipment implementation, process transfers, and engineering changes by updating and deploying training content.
• Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, audits, performance metrics, and operator feedback, then implement corrective actions.
• Partner with Production, Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, EHS, and Human Resources to close competency gaps and improve operational performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in manufacturing operations, production, technical training, or learning and development within manufacturing.
• Strong presentation, facilitation, coaching, mentoring, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and training management or documentation systems such as LMS platforms.
• Commitment to quality, compliance, workforce development, and operational excellence.

Nice to have

• Experience developing structured training programs, competency assessments, operator certification, and onboarding initiatives.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, ISO quality management systems, EHS, Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, 5S/6S, and risk assessment.
