Supervisor I (Manufacturing)

Location: Woodlands, Singapore, W3; no travel required. Permanent night-shift availability is required.

hirify.global’s Recording Media Operations team manufactures the magnetic media used in hard drives in a high-volume advanced manufacturing environment.

What you will do

• Supervise operators and manufacturing specialists in a production area.
• Oversee daily manufacturing operations to achieve production, quality, and cost objectives.
• Monitor production schedules and adjust staffing to meet production targets.
• Apply lean manufacturing principles, including Kaizen and 6S, to optimize workflow and reduce waste.
• Coach, develop, and evaluate team members while fostering teamwork and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with other departments and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Requirements

• Diploma in Engineering or a relevant discipline.
• Proven supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience working in a cleanroom environment.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to coach and develop team members, work independently, and maintain high standards of discipline.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and availability for permanent night shifts.
