Product Manager - Federations

Location: Hybrid role based in Bellevue, Chicago, New York, San Francisco, Washington, DC, or Toronto

Annual base salary: $159,000–$219,000 USD for candidates in California excluding the San Francisco Bay Area, Colorado, Illinois, New York, and Washington; additional ranges are listed for other US locations and Canada.

What you will do

• Own the Federations product roadmap, strategy, prioritization, and execution.
• Define and ship secure, interoperable experiences based on OAuth 2.0, OIDC, and SAML requirements.
• Work with engineering, design, customers, Solutions Engineering, Support, Standards, and product teams to translate platform needs into product requirements.
• Use AI tools for specification writing, competitive analysis, and rapid prototyping.
• Coordinate launches and adoption with engineering, field teams, technology partners, marketing, and other cross-functional stakeholders.
• Represent Federations in customer escalations, executive briefings, enterprise evaluations, and strategic partnerships.

Requirements

• 3+ years of product management experience.
• Experience with identity, security, enterprise-scale, platform, or developer products.
• Ability to lead in-depth technical discussions with engineering teams.
• Working fluency in federation protocols, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, and SAML.
• Ability to connect platform decisions to business outcomes and market strategy.
• Strong written and verbal communication, customer empathy, ownership, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with API access management, non-human identity, or agentic identity use cases.
• Experience contributing to or engaging with standards bodies such as the OpenID Foundation or IETF.
