Senior Engineering Specialist (Contamination Control)

Location: Woodlands, Singapore, W2. Travel: None.

Contamination control engineering supports cleanroom manufacturing environments and the integrity of controlled production systems.

What you will do

• Support contamination control activities in cleanroom manufacturing environments.
• Conduct cleanroom audits and monitor particle, TOC, and CTQ contamination metrics.
• Investigate contamination-related defects and yield issues through data collection and root cause analysis.
• Drive contamination reduction, yield improvement, defect reduction, and process optimization projects.
• Provide technical support for kitting, packaging, reclaim operations, inspections, and other substrate processes.
• Troubleshoot quality, yield, and stability issues while supporting SOP, cleanroom, and safety compliance.

Requirements

• Diploma or Higher NITEC in Engineering or a related discipline.
• 5–10 years of experience in semiconductor, HDD, electronics, or cleanroom manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience in contamination control, process troubleshooting, and manufacturing operations.
• Experience with 5 Why, 8D, FMEA, or Fishbone root cause analysis tools.
• Proficiency in data analysis using Excel, JMP, Minitab, Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.
• Knowledge of SPC, DOE, statistical analysis, and strong communication and teamwork skills.
