We are looking for a Senior Digital Identity / IAM Engineer who can cover SSI / Verifiable Credentials and IAM integration topics. We are also open to considering two separate specialists if one profile does not cover the full scope.

🇩🇪 German is a strong advantage

MUST HAVE
— Strong experience with SSI / Self-Sovereign Identity, Verifiable Credentials and Digital Identity
— W3C Verifiable Credentials (VC) and Decentralized Identifiers (DID)
— Experience with EUDI Wallet / EUDI ARF or comparable frameworks
— Understanding of issuer / wallet / verifier architecture
— OpenID4VCI / OpenID4VP
— OAuth 2.0 / OpenID Connect
— Strong hands-on experience with Keycloak and/or Zitadel
— Custom claims, protocol mappers, extensions / plugins
— JWT / JWKS, token lifecycle, validation and revocation
— REST APIs and backend integrations
— Experience integrating VC attributes into IAM / OIDC identity models
— Strong customer-facing and consulting skills
— Ability to run workshops, presentations and architecture discussions

What You Will Do
— Design SSI / Verifiable Credential architectures
— Integrate VC solutions with IAM and authentication infrastructure
— Configure and extend Keycloak / Zitadel
— Define credential issuance, presentation, verification and revocation flows
— Map VC attributes into OIDC claims, roles and permissions
— Support architecture, security and API integrations
— Prepare solution concepts, diagrams and technical recommendations
— Work directly with customer stakeholders and development teams
