Identity & Access Management (IAM) Engineer

Location: Dublin, Ireland; hybrid work with at least 50% of each quarter spent in the office or in the field

Base salary: €70,200–€105,400 per year in Ireland, with potential bonus and annual refresh stock grants.

What you will do

• Configure, integrate, and maintain connections between the identity provider, SaaS applications, internal systems, and APIs.
• Implement and troubleshoot automated joiner, mover, and leaver workflows.
• Provide initial operational support for identity issues in the EU Sovereign Cloud, including directory synchronization and authentication failures.
• Administer LDAP, Ory Hydra, and HR-driven identity data feeds.
• Develop scripts for access reporting, orphaned-account cleanup, and other routine IAM tasks.
• Create technical documentation, architectural diagrams, and standard operating procedures for the IAM ecosystem.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in IT or security, including at least 2 years administering and configuring IAM solutions.
• Experience with Okta or Microsoft Entra ID, LDAP, Active Directory, and Ory Hydra.
• Practical understanding of SAML, OAuth, OIDC, and REST APIs.
• Proficiency in Python or Go for API integration, data manipulation, and security automation.
• Knowledge of information security principles, zero standing privileges, Security by Design, and security reviews.
• Working knowledge of AWS or GCP security measures and a bachelor’s degree in computer science, cybersecurity, information security, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have

• Security+, Okta Certified Administrator, Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate, or AWS Cloud Practitioner certification.
