Podcast & Media Production Intern (AI)

Location: Hybrid or remote; events and on-site media capture take place at Office146 in Etobicoke, Toronto.

Compensation: $32 per hour.

What you will do

• Plan, record, and produce podcast episodes featuring founders, investors, and industry leaders.
• Capture audio, video, and behind-the-scenes media at events, panels, and interviews.
• Edit raw audio and video into polished episodes, clips, and publishable content.
• Develop interview questions, episode outlines, scripts, run-of-show plans, and narratives.
• Prepare show notes, promotional assets, and podcast content for distribution across channels.
• Collaborate with events, marketing, media, and programs teams to align content with each initiative.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or have completed a master's degree in media production, communications, journalism, or a related field.
• Demonstrated interest or experience in podcast production, audio editing, or event media coverage.
• Comfortable using recording equipment and audio editing tools.
• Ability to produce a polished episode from raw material.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including on-microphone communication.
• Interest in startups, live programs, AI, and making technical conversations accessible.
