Senior Engineer (AI)

Salary: $142,000–$220,500 annual

What you will do

• Design and deliver AI platform capabilities integrating developer tools, cloud services, LLM providers, and observability systems.
• Build and evolve AI infrastructure and tooling used by engineering teams across hirify.global.
• Develop deployment processes, automation, alerting, and infrastructure using Kubernetes and AWS.
• Lead system and design reviews, make technical trade-offs, and break complex initiatives into actionable engineering tasks.
• Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, vendors, and cross-functional teams to define requirements and resolve incidents.
• Mentor junior engineers and improve engineering quality through code reviews, documentation, metrics, and technical standards.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
• Expert proficiency in Python and experience writing clean, maintainable, and extensible code.
• Hands-on Kubernetes experience and knowledge of cloud-native architectures.
• Experience deploying applications to AWS using infrastructure-as-code frameworks and tools.
• Understanding of AI concepts and technologies, including AWS AgentCore or similar platforms, together with strong system design, analytical, and debugging skills.
