Manager I, Engineering Project Management (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Lead cross-functional manufacturing and engineering project teams across technical design, equipment setup, process implementation, business systems, and regulatory approvals.
• Develop and execute project plans covering scope, schedules, capital and expense budgets, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate internal and external stakeholders, including vendors and suppliers, to achieve cost, quality, and delivery objectives.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks while providing progress and performance reporting to site management.
• Manage improvement, technology transfer, and equipment-related projects in compliance with applicable standards and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct feasibility studies and recommend approaches for technology transfers and new equipment installations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering.
• At least 7 years of relevant experience in project or engineering management, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong spoken and written English is required.
• Experience leading multiple cross-functional projects and managing project budgets and capital project tracking.
• Strong leadership, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Nice to have

• Experience in the medical device or pharmaceutical industry.
• Familiarity with project management software such as Poggio or equivalent.
• PMP certification.
