Data Analyst 3, Supply Chain Intelligence

Location: Hybrid in Seattle, Washington

Salary: $102,500–$170,500 annual, with possible performance-based incentives or bonuses.

What you will do

• Deliver governed data, reporting, and actionable insights for distribution center and warehouse operations.
• Manage data intake, automation, validation, integrity, and governance across warehouse management systems and downstream pipelines.
• Analyze inbound, outbound, inventory, labor, and end-to-end distribution center performance to identify root causes and recommend improvements.
• Lead data design and delivery for reporting initiatives, including migration from legacy to modern BI platforms and centralized self-service analytics.
• Partner with data engineering, operations, finance, technology, and supply chain leadership to define reliable data and reporting requirements.
• Develop KPIs, control-monitoring reports, data narratives, and exploratory analysis using AI-assisted tools such as Claude Code and Claude Desktop.

Requirements

• Degree in finance, statistics, mathematics, analytics, computer science, information systems, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in data management and data analysis, with the ability to technically mentor junior analysts.
• Experience with diagnostic and prescriptive analysis, ETL, data management, and pipeline development using Apache Airflow and Dataflow.
• Strong SQL, BigQuery, relational database, data warehousing, dimensional modeling, and large-dataset manipulation skills.
• Experience with reporting and visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, or IBM Cognos, plus advanced GitLab or GitHub knowledge.
• Operational understanding of supply chain, warehouse, distribution, fulfillment, receiving, or inventory management, and confidence presenting to business stakeholders and leadership.

Nice to have

• Supply chain experience in retail or consumer goods.
• Experience with AI-assisted development and productivity tools for analysis automation, data workflows, and Looker development.
• Master’s degree in a related field.
