Cloud Infrastructure / Platform Engineer (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Design, build, and operate secure cloud landing zones covering accounts or subscriptions, organizational structures, networking, identity, logging, and security baselines.
• Implement policy-as-code governance, compliance automation, exception handling, auditability, and FinOps cost controls.
• Develop reusable Terraform infrastructure modules and establish standardized patterns for internal development teams.
• Build CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure, operating system images, containers, and platform components using GitOps workflows.
• Deliver the infrastructure platform as an internal product and standardize development, testing, and production environments.
• Implement security, monitoring, alerting, dashboards, incident response, and SLI/SLO practices for platform services.

Requirements

• Deep hands-on experience architecting and implementing cloud infrastructure on Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Strong Infrastructure as Code experience, primarily with Terraform; Bicep/ARM and CloudFormation knowledge is required or valued.
• Experience with cloud cost optimization, FinOps, Savings Plans, Reserved Instances, and policy-based cost controls.
• Experience building cloud landing zones and foundational platforms covering identity, networking, shared services, and governance.
• Experience with policy-as-code, automated compliance, infrastructure CI/CD, environment promotion, drift detection, IAM, encryption, and network security.
• Proficiency with Git workflows, scripting or programming in Python, Bash, PowerShell, or Go, and configuration automation tools such as Ansible or Puppet.

Nice to have

• Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Kubernetes, service mesh, or container platform operations experience.
• Strong network engineering background, including cloud and hybrid-cloud connectivity.
• Experience with data center platform automation, developer portals, catalogs, and golden paths.
• Knowledge of NIST CSF, NIST 800-171, SOX, SOC 2, or ISO 27002.
• Experience with Datadog, Splunk, LogicMonitor, SAFe, or other structured agile delivery frameworks.
