Accounting - Masters-Level Internship

Location: Remote, with hybrid options in Toronto and Chicago only.

Compensation: $32 per hour.

Duration: 520 hours, completed over 3 months full-time or 6 months part-time.

What you will do

• Prepare financial statements, reports, and analyses for internal and external stakeholders.
• Support month-end and year-end closing, including account reconciliations.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, cost-saving opportunities, and efficiency improvements.
• Support budgeting and forecasting in alignment with organizational goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Help maintain compliance with accounting standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Master’s program enrollment or completion in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is mandatory.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with accounting software and tools such as QuickBooks and Excel.
• Strong organization, multitasking, prioritization, and deadline-management skills.
• Proficient English communication, both verbal and written, is required.
• Strong presentation and public-speaking skills.
