Intern - Manufacturing / Tooling Development Engineering (Manufacturing)

Location: BangPa-in, Thailand; onsite at BangPa-In Building 3

What you will do

• Assist engineers with the design and development of manual and automated tooling fixtures.
• Support tolerance checks, GR&R, basic DOE activities, engineering evaluations, and data collection.
• Prepare drawings, BOM updates, preventive maintenance sheets, setup sheets, and review materials.
• Collect and analyze production or laboratory data to support tooling improvement projects.
• Assist with prototypes, basic assembly, measurements, test preparation, and logistics for small builds.
• Coordinate with vendors, prepare data and samples, and help improve vendor services and capabilities.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Mechatronics, Manufacturing, or a related engineering field.
• Basic understanding of mechanical or manufacturing engineering fundamentals and engineering drawings.
• Beginner-level CAD experience, preferably with SolidWorks, including simple tooling or fixture drafts.
• Ability to collect, organize, and analyze basic engineering data using computer tools such as Excel.
• Good teamwork and communication skills, with a problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn.
• Experience is not required; university projects, laboratory work, or technical club experience is advantageous.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with ISO concepts.
• Prior university laboratory, project, or technical club experience.
