Intern, Manufacturing Engineering

What you will do

• Troubleshoot, maintain, install, set up, and qualify manufacturing equipment.
• Coordinate Equipment Technicians and oversee daily workflow in line with operational priorities.
• Analyze equipment data to improve availability and efficiency and reduce unscheduled downtime.
• Investigate line abnormalities, quality issues, and yield losses, and implement timely corrective actions.
• Lead improvement projects covering machine performance, cost, process, yield, quality, capacity, and productivity.
• Prepare and maintain FMEA documents, training materials, SOPs, 8D reports, audit actions, and equipment standardization materials.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in engineering, mechanical engineering, or electrical engineering.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Knowledge of machine design and optimization and basic mechanical knowledge.
• Understanding of equipment schematics, machine safety standards, preventive and predictive maintenance, servo motors, sensors, actuators, motion control, robotics, and automation systems.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing, OEE, yield improvement, cost reduction, production support, and line balancing.
• Ability to work effectively with multifunctional teams and communicate clearly.

Nice to have

• Experience with data analysis and problem solving.
• Familiarity with MS365 and PLC, Python, Power BI, or C++ programming.
• Knowledge of AI-assisted troubleshooting, IoT, Industrial 4.0, data visualization, and dashboard creation.
