Responsible Business Assistant Manager (ESG)

What you will do

• Support preparation of the annual Responsible Business Report and align disclosures with GRI Standards 2021, SASB Standards, and ISSB/TCFD recommendations.
• Coordinate submissions to EcoVadis, CDP, DJSI/S&P CSA, and other ESG assessment platforms; monitor scorecards and develop improvement plans.
• Calculate group-level Scope 1, Scope 2, and relevant Scope 3 emissions in line with the GHG Protocol and ISO 14064.
• Coordinate ESG data assurance, KPI validation, audits, evidence gathering, and data reconciliations.
• Collaborate with HR, Environment, Operations, Procurement, Finance, and Compliance on ESG data, sustainability initiatives, action plans, and dashboards.
• Monitor emerging ESG regulations, reporting standards, rating agency requirements, investor expectations, and customer needs.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of experience in Sustainability, ESG Reporting, or GHG Accounting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Management, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience preparing ESG or sustainability reports aligned with GRI, SASB, and TCFD.
• Working knowledge of GHG accounting for Scope 1, 2, and key Scope 3 categories using the GHG Protocol and ISO 14064.
• Strong analytical, organizational, data interpretation, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, modelling, visualization, and dashboard creation.

Nice to have

• MBA or PGDM focused on Sustainability, Environmental Management, Risk Management, ESG, or Finance.
• Knowledge of SECR, UNGC, SBTi, ISSB, CSRD, and carbon accounting principles.
• CFA Institute Certificate in ESG Investing.
• GARP Sustainability & Climate Risk Certificate.
