Sr Sound Designer I (Gaming)

Location: Gurugram, Haryana, India; onsite full-time

What you will do

• Compose and produce orchestral, ethnic/world, pop, rock, jazz, and Asian music.
• Create and edit sound effects aligned with game visuals.
• Mix and master music and sound effects for high-quality game audio.
• Define sound-package implementation requirements for assigned projects.
• Collaborate with game designers, illustrators, animators, and software engineers on cohesive audio integration.
• Format audio conversions for different gaming platforms and use task-tracking and version-control tools.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in music composition and sound building.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in sound or music, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Proficiency with a digital audio workstation, preferably Cubase or Nuendo.
• Experience with MIDI keyboards, sound cards, professional headphones, monitor speakers, VST plugins, and Waves plugins.
• Expertise in audio mixing and mastering, plus basic Adobe After Effects skills.
• Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills; must be authorized to work in India without current or future visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience in the gaming industry, particularly casino and mobile games.
• Familiarity with JIRA, Perforce, and Confluence.
