Senior ASIC Analog Design Engineer (Automotive)

Location: Hybrid and cross-border mobile work available; the role is associated with the Regensburg region, Germany.

What you will do

• Act as the technical authority for analog and mixed-signal high-voltage ASIC development in automotive products.
• Own chip-level architecture and design trade-offs covering performance, robustness, safety, EMC/ESD, testability, cost, schedule, and manufacturability.
• Define and implement analog blocks in BCD technologies, including SMPSs, LDOs, gate drivers, charge pumps, sensor interfaces, and protection circuits.
• Translate system and customer requirements into chip- and block-level specifications while identifying risks and verification needs.
• Drive analog-on-top and chip-level integration across schematics, verification, layout, constraints, and validation.
• Review critical design concepts and mentor engineers while improving methodologies, reusable approaches, and knowledge assets.

Requirements

• Degree in electrical engineering, microelectronics, physics, or a comparable field.
• Expert experience in analog/mixed-signal high-voltage and high-power ASIC design for the automotive domain.
• Long-term experience with analog-on-top simulation environments and mixed-signal verification.
• Strong knowledge of BCD technologies, analog circuit theory, physical layout, functional safety, and reliability engineering.
• Proven tape-out and successful silicon validation experience, with exposure to EMC/ESD design and robustness testing.
• Very good written and spoken English is required.
