Principal Consultant, Industrial and Energy

Location: Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia (Hybrid)

What you will do

• Lead 2–4 complex client projects involving senior stakeholders and teams of 4–5 or more resources.
• Own the quality, delivery timelines, analytical logic, and strategic impact of project outputs.
• Develop consulting approaches, frameworks, presentations, and actionable growth recommendations for Industrial and Energy clients.
• Act as a trusted business advisor in senior-management discussions and facilitate Growth Pipeline Dialogs.
• Manage selected client accounts, including revenue quota responsibility and top-down business development.
• Mentor and coach junior consultants while improving project delivery tools and frameworks.

Requirements

• Relevant university degree in Engineering or Technology; a Master’s or PhD is an advantage.
• 6–9 years of industry, analyst, or consulting experience in a consulting or advisory services environment.
• Foundational understanding of the Industrial, manufacturing, energy, or environment sectors.
• Strong analytical thinking, written and verbal communication, client handling, networking, and presentation skills; business-level English fluency is required.
• Experience managing complex projects, multitasking under tight deadlines, and maintaining high-quality standards.
• Ability to work independently with remote supervision and collaborate effectively with teams and clients.

Nice to have

• Postgraduate degree in a relevant field.
• Specialist expertise in two or three functional areas within the Industrial or Energy domains.
• Experience with Growth Pipeline Engine frameworks and coaching skills.
