Solution Architect / Sr Hadoop Consultant (10+ Years of Minimum Experience Required) (Hadoop)

What you will do

• Design and support technology solutions involving IP networking, Unix/Linux, Java, Hadoop, and distributed data platforms.
• Work with Spark, Elasticsearch, MongoDB, Hive, HBase, Kafka, and RabbitMQ.
• Develop or support multithreaded and concurrent applications using Java and Spring.
• Apply testing frameworks such as JUnit and contribute across all phases of the software development life cycle.
• Handle multiple assignments independently while collaborating with globally distributed teams.
• Analyze complex technical issues and communicate practical solutions.

Requirements

• 10+ years of minimum experience required.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics and Communication, or a related field.
• Experience with IP networking, Unix/Linux, Core Java, Collections Framework, concurrent programming, Spring, and multithreading.
• Experience with Spark, Elasticsearch, MongoDB, Hadoop Hive/HBase, and messaging systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Strong communication, analytical, collaboration, and independent working skills.
• Ability to manage multiple ongoing assignments and knowledge of all SDLC phases.

Nice to have

• Experience leading, mentoring, and building teams.
• Knowledge of Sybase, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
• Knowledge of Maven, SVN, NPM, Gulp, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, ES6, AngularJS, or ReactJS.
• Programming experience with Perl, Python, or shell scripting.
• Experience with Network Management Systems and Operational Support Systems.
