Engineering Specialist IV (Facilities) (Manufacturing)

Location: Woodlands, Singapore, W2. Onsite role supporting rotating 12-hour shifts. Travel: None.

hirify.global's Facilities Engineering team supports reliable, efficient, and sustainable facility and utility systems for cleanroom manufacturing operations.

What you will do

• Perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on electrical, mechanical, and facilities systems.
• Operate and maintain chillers, cooling towers, compressed dry air, vacuum, process cooling water, electrical distribution, and ultra-pure water systems.
• Respond to equipment faults and manage incidents such as power interruptions, utility failures, and cleanroom issues.
• Monitor critical-to-quality parameters through Facilities Management System and SCADA platforms and troubleshoot electrical and instrumentation problems.
• Coordinate and supervise contractors during maintenance, repairs, shutdowns, and overhauls.
• Support continuous improvement, work-order tracking, maintenance records, audits, and shift handovers.

Requirements

• Diploma or Higher NITEC in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation and Control Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Relevant experience operating and maintaining facilities equipment, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts onsite in Woodlands, Singapore.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and independent working skills.
• Practical knowledge of electrical distribution systems, motor control centers, variable speed drives, ACMV, fan filter units, vacuum and compressor systems, or FMS/SCADA.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Experience supporting cleanroom or semiconductor manufacturing facilities.
