Senior Software Quality Assurance Analyst (Data & Analytics)

Location: Hybrid in Milan, Italy, with smart working; onsite office attendance may be required for interviews.

What you will do

• Define, document, and validate KPIs, metrics, benchmarking models, and analytical requirements.
• Translate business questions into data requirements, quality criteria, acceptance conditions, and analytical specifications.
• Validate the quality, consistency, completeness, and reliability of reporting and analytics outputs.
• Support the design and evolution of dashboards, reports, semantic models, and analytical products.
• Analyze customer, supplier, financial, operational, and market data to identify trends, gaps, opportunities, and risks.
• Use AI-assisted tools and specification-driven practices to improve analysis, validation, documentation, and quality processes.

Requirements

• Experience in data analysis, business intelligence, software quality assurance for data products, or a related role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with close attention to data quality and business value.
• Good SQL skills for exploring, validating, and interpreting structured datasets.
• Experience with reporting, dashboarding, or visualization tools, preferably Power BI.
• Ability to define measurable KPIs, validation criteria, analytical specifications, and acceptance conditions from business needs.
• Experience using AI-assisted tools and familiarity with specification-driven methodologies such as OpenSpec or equivalent approaches.

Nice to have

• Experience with benchmarking, business performance analysis, or financial and operational analytics.
• Knowledge of data quality frameworks, data lineage, semantic models, or data governance.
• Familiarity with Azure Data & Analytics services or enterprise data platforms.
• Experience in Agile, product-oriented, and cross-functional environments.
• Experience validating automated insights, generated reports, or advanced analytics outputs.
