Manager System Functional Verification (E-Mobility)

Location: Not specified; hirify.global has locations in Bolzano/Bozen, Bergamo, Bologna, Munich, and Charlotte.

Total compensation: starting from €74,000 gross per year, including a 30% variable bonus based on goal achievement.

What you will do

• Define and drive the System Verification strategy in line with product quality objectives and the R&D roadmap.
• Lead planning and execution of functional, performance, interoperability, and regression verification for software releases integrated into chargers.
• Maintain traceability between requirements, verification plans, test cases, execution results, and defects.
• Drive risk-based verification planning and coordinate defect management, root cause analysis, and corrective-action verification.
• Improve verification methods, test processes, quality metrics, and automated verification capabilities.
• Lead, coach, and develop the System Verification team while optimizing resources, laboratory use, and workload across projects.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Leadership experience in system verification, validation, or software testing.
• Hands-on experience with V-Model-based product development and hardware/software integration.
• Strong knowledge of system verification methodologies, requirements traceability, and defect management.
• Experience with automated testing environments and data-driven verification approaches.
• Fluent English and the ability to plan, prioritize, analyze, solve problems, and make decisions across multiple projects.
