Product Manager - Shipping Costs (Logistics)

Salary: From €5,000 gross per month, negotiable based on competencies and experience.

hirify.global operates a marketplace shipping more than 200,000 items per month across 25+ European countries through more than a dozen carrier integrations.

What you will do

• Own shipment-level and aggregate shipping cost accuracy, including monitoring, root-cause analysis, and error reduction.
• Define and maintain the real-time guardrail layer that approves or blocks carrier and route combinations before label generation.
• Build failover re-routing that automatically selects a working alternative when a carrier provider is unavailable.
• Manage carrier volume steering by ranking and presenting options to buyers and promoting or deprioritizing carriers against commercial targets.
• Own the pricing configuration tool so routine price changes do not require engineering support.
• Deliver accurate shipping cost forecasts and accruals that Finance can use for planning and invoice reconciliation.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner.
• Experience with real-time or operational systems where latency and availability are product requirements.
• Experience building internal tools or data products for pricing, finance, or operations stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of cost accuracy across multiple aggregation levels and ability to diagnose calculation drift.
• Technical fluency with APIs, rate card data structures, routing logic, and backend data flows.
• Structured problem-solving skills and clear ownership discipline across cross-functional teams.
