Data Analyst II

Location: Onsite at the Transportation Home Office in Bentonville, Arkansas, United States

Annual salary: $70,000–$130,000, plus potential performance bonuses and stock compensation.

What you will do

• Analyze complex business data across inbound and outbound transportation, product, finance, and technology domains.
• Identify relevant datasets and maintain data quality, integrity, and reliability.
• Develop business requirements documentation for projects and process improvements.
• Apply statistical techniques and data visualization to identify trends, outliers, and correlations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into actionable insights and support solution development.
• Communicate findings to influence business strategies and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, statistics, economics, analytics, mathematics, arts, finance, or a related field, or two years of experience in data analysis, data science, statistics, or a related field.
• Proficiency in data analysis using SQL and Python.
• Experience developing business requirements documentation and understanding cross-domain business practices.
• Ability to assess and improve data quality through data cleansing, profiling, validation, and established management frameworks.
• Knowledge of data visualization best practices and experience with Tableau or Power BI.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills, with familiarity with project management principles.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in business, computer science, engineering, statistics, economics, analytics, mathematics, information technology, or a related field.
• Experience in data science, data analysis, statistics, retail, merchandising, healthcare, or eCommerce.
• Experience with Spark, Scala, R, Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or Python assessments and tools.
