Focus on troubleshooting and optimizing manufacturing tools, driving root cause analysis and continuous improvement, and developing technician training, certification, and staffing plans.
Location: On-site in Penang, Malaysia

What you will do
- Lead and manage engineers and technicians responsible for manufacturing operations, equipment maintenance, and repair.
- Own, sustain, troubleshoot, repair, and optimize Assembly manufacturing equipment to support uptime, yield, quality, productivity, production ramps, and tool qualifications.
- Drive equipment reliability and process improvements through root cause analysis, preventive maintenance, failure analysis, SPC, FMEA, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure production schedules, safety standards, and quality requirements are met.
- Develop training and certification plans, manage shift staffing, workstation assignments, rotations, and PTO coverage.
- Coordinate tactical improvements and collaborate with engineering groups to resolve factory health, operational, safety, and security issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with at least 3 years of manufacturing operations or equipment management experience, or a master's degree with at least 2 years of experience.
- At least 3 years of equipment maintenance and repair experience.
- Proficiency in equipment monitoring, scheduling, and maintenance practices.
- Experience with manufacturing quality assurance, good manufacturing practices, and operational safety standards.
- Ability to develop training plans and manage team certifications.
- On-site presence in Penang, Malaysia is required.

- Experience leading and developing diverse manufacturing teams.
- Strong problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with excursion management and process optimization.
- Strong equipment knowledge in Assembly operations.
