TL;DR
Senior Director, Platform Engineering - SDLC & Cloud Native Foundations (Cloud Native): Defining enterprise-wide platform standards, CI/CD golden paths, cloud-native landing zones, and developer tooling with an accent on engineering productivity, security, governance, and adoption measurement. Focus on designing reusable Harness and GitHub Actions pipelines, scaling AWS and multi-cloud infrastructure patterns with Terraform/OpenTofu, and aligning infrastructure, security, AI, and engineering leaders around shared standards.
Location: Cyberjaya, Malaysia; hybrid remote/in-office role

What you will do
- Define enterprise-wide CI/CD standards, reusable pipeline templates, deployment automation, observability, and progressive delivery practices across Harness and GitHub Actions.
- Establish cloud-native landing zone standards, provisioning models, governance controls, and Infrastructure as Code patterns across AWS, Azure, GCP, and OCI.
- Set standards for Jira, source control, Artifactory, Confluence, and related SDLC tooling while enabling automated onboarding and self-service developer experiences.
- Embed security, quality, compliance, software supply chain, and AI workflow integrations into delivery pipelines.
- Define DORA and platform adoption metrics, using data and continuous improvement to increase adoption across 40 or more engineering teams.
- Lead the platform engineering function, influence senior stakeholders, and align Infrastructure, Security, Developer Experience, AI, and engineering teams.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Developer Experience, or related technology fields.
- Experience designing and scaling CI/CD platforms, cloud-native solutions, and engineering standards in enterprise environments.
- Deep expertise in at least one major cloud provider, preferably AWS, including landing zones, VPC architecture, and EKS/ECS provisioning patterns.
- Hands-on ability to write and review Terraform or OpenTofu Infrastructure as Code, rather than only configure cloud consoles.
- Experience with Harness and GitHub Actions, security and AI pipeline integrations, progressive delivery, developer tooling governance, and DORA metrics.
- Ability to influence complex, matrixed organizations and represent platform standards in technology evaluation and governance bodies.
