2027 Accounting & Finance Development Program Intern (Undergraduate)

Location: Primarily Lake County, Illinois, with possible placement at another hirify.global location in the United States based on business needs.

Salary: $21–$37.80 per hour, plus eligibility for benefits and short-term incentive programs.

What you will do

• Complete meaningful accounting and finance assignments during an 11-week paid summer internship.
• Support financial analysis, budgets, plans, forecasts, reporting, and controls.
• Contribute to finance activities across commercial operations, manufacturing, supply chain, purchasing, R&D, and corporate functions.
• Help support accounting, FP&A, finance shared services, internal audit, tax, global trade compliance, and treasury activities.
• Analyze financial information and provide decision support for business performance and operating improvements.

Requirements

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in finance and/or accounting, with expected graduation between December 2027 and August 2028.
• Must be enrolled in school during the semester following the internship.
• Expected to complete at least three three-credit accounting courses by graduation, including cost or managerial accounting.
• Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint in academic or professional settings.
• Leadership experience in a school or student organization.
• Cumulative GPA of at least 3.00 and an unofficial or official transcript submitted with the application.

Nice to have

• Dual major or minor in a related field.
• Experience with data visualization, data analysis, robust analytics, or predictive modeling.
• Excel or data visualization certification or coursework.
• Project management experience and the ability to complete work on time and within budget.
• Previous internship or related experience; GPA of 3.50 or higher.
