Senior Data Analyst

What you will do

• Architect innovative reports, predictive models, and analytical frameworks to identify opportunities, risks, and strategic initiatives.
• Advise senior leaders, product managers, and engineering teams with data-driven recommendations and compelling executive narratives.
• Own complex, high-visibility analytics projects end to end, including scope, methodology, and success criteria.
• Mentor junior data analysts and promote analytical rigor, accountability, and data literacy.
• Define analytics best practices and methodologies across the organization.
• Partner with Data Engineering and Product teams on data strategy, infrastructure, governance, and reliability of core data assets.

Requirements

• 7+ years of progressive experience in data analytics, including leadership of complex projects and mentoring.
• Expert-level SQL skills, including complex query optimization, troubleshooting, advanced functions, performance tuning, and warehouse data modeling.
• Advanced experience with an enterprise BI platform such as Tableau or Power BI and the design of scalable, high-performance dashboards.
• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills, including modeling, pivot tables, lookup functions, and data cleanup.
• Hands-on experience with modern data warehouse or lakehouse environments such as Snowflake or Databricks, including architecture, cost management, and AI features.
• Strong business acumen, communication, data storytelling, and experience translating ambiguous strategic questions into analytical plans.

Nice to have

• Experience analyzing large-scale event-based product and customer telemetry.
• Proficiency in Python or another statistical programming language.
• Experience with CRM data models, particularly Salesforce.
