Narrative Video Editor

Location: Remote from home or a personal office in Mexico City, CDMX

Changing Lives Productions, the video production company of hirify.global, creates motivational short-form videos about life, business, and relationships for a global social media audience.

What you will do

• Edit scripted drama series and YouTube-style motivational videos.
• Build emotion, increase tension, and strengthen the entertainment value and payoff of each film.
• Collaborate with creative producers, screenwriters, casting associates, directors, and shooters.
• Add subtitles and branding to all videos.
• Ensure final files are complete, organized, and delivered quickly without sacrificing quality.

Requirements

• 5–10 years of experience editing for leading YouTube or streaming channels.
• Strong understanding of editing specifically for YouTube.
• Extensive experience editing narrative video content.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, especially Premiere.
• Strong video editing portfolio and ability to manage a wide variety of fast-paced projects.
• Ability to learn quickly, collaborate effectively, and maintain quality during rapid output.
