Short-Form Video Editor (AI)

Location: Remote, Philippines

What you will do

• Edit short-form videos for Facebook, Instagram Reels, TikTok and YouTube Shorts.
• Use AI video and image-generation tools to create original footage, then turn raw materials and generations into polished social videos.
• Improve pacing, framing, transitions and continuity, adding captions, music, sound effects, voiceovers and motion graphics where needed.
• Develop repeatable formats across entertainment, gaming, animals, human-interest and viral content, creating variations for testing.
• Track ideas, completed videos, publishing destinations and performance, using results to improve future content.
• Collaborate with the Head of Video and social media team to meet production targets.

Requirements

• Strong video-editing skills with Premiere Pro, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve or similar software.
• Experience creating short-form content for major social platforms.
• Understanding of hooks, pacing, retention and social-first storytelling, with strong visual judgment and attention to detail.
• Ability to work efficiently across multiple videos and deadlines, test new workflows and respond to feedback.
• Strong written English and communication skills.
• Interest in entertainment, gaming, internet culture or viral content.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI video or image tools such as Kling, Runway, Higgsfield, Veo or Seedance, including prompting and image-to-video workflows.
• Motion graphics, After Effects or sound-design skills.
• Experience producing content for large social media pages and using analytics to improve performance.
• Familiarity with platform monetisation and content-originality requirements.
