Principal Backend Development Engineer (Risk)

What you will do

• Develop and maintain core market data modules.
• Design and optimize real-time market data computation and low-latency push pipelines.
• Tune system performance for high-concurrency and high-throughput workloads while maintaining market data accuracy and timeliness.
• Participate in technical design reviews and code reviews.
• Build observability infrastructure, including monitoring, alerting, distributed tracing, and logging.
• Investigate production incidents and contribute to post-mortem reviews.

Requirements

• 3+ years of Go development experience, including a solid understanding of Go concurrency, memory management, and garbage collection.
• Experience designing high-concurrency, low-latency systems and optimizing common performance bottlenecks.
• Familiarity with message queues such as Kafka and Redis Streams in streaming architectures.
• Proficiency with real-time data transport protocols, including WebSocket and gRPC.
• Strong engineering discipline, clean code practices, and experience conducting code reviews.
