Senior Thermal Engineer (AI Infrastructure)

hirify.global is recruiting for a client developing AI Factory infrastructure and high-performance computing systems.

What you will do

• Lead thermal design and optimization for AI systems with rack densities exceeding 100kW.
• Design and validate direct-to-chip, immersion, and hybrid liquid cooling architectures.
• Run large-scale, high-fidelity CFD simulations using ANSYS Fluent on A100 and A400 GPU clusters.
• Lead experimental thermal testing, instrumentation, and validation campaigns.
• Develop predictive thermal models and CFD-based digital twins incorporating machine learning capabilities.
• Provide technical leadership to cross-functional teams and drive sustainable cooling innovation to reduce PUE.

Requirements

• Higher-level degree in Mechanical Engineering, Thermal Engineering, or a related field focused on heat transfer and fluid dynamics.
• At least 8 years of experience in thermal management for data centers and high-performance computing.
• Deep expertise in ANSYS Fluent and complex CFD simulations.
• Extensive experience with cold plates, heat exchangers, and cooling distribution systems.
• Experience with experimental thermal testing, multiphysics simulations, electronic systems with power densities above 50W/cm², CAD, MATLAB, and Python.
• Strong publication record and ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
