Associate - Financial Institutions Group (FIG) Coverage – DACH & Nordics Team (Financial Institutions)

What you will do

• Manage day-to-day coverage responsibilities across a portfolio of financial institution clients.
• Coordinate cross-product transactions and internal workstreams across Coverage, Financing, Markets, Transaction Banking, Advisory, and Risk.
• Prepare client presentations, credit papers, financial analyses, and strategic reviews independently.
• Support senior client interactions, including meetings with C-suite executives.
• Drive execution across product teams, stakeholders, and jurisdictions.
• Own credit, profitability, risk management, KYC, onboarding, business development, and client planning processes.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in FIG Coverage, Corporate Banking Coverage, DCM, Structured Finance, Corporate Finance, Leveraged Finance, Financial Sponsors, Markets, Credit Risk, Transaction Banking, or related institutional banking disciplines.
• Experience covering financial institutions, supporting client relationships, executing transactions, and contributing to strategic advisory initiatives.
• Ability to manage workstreams independently, coordinate stakeholders, and deliver high-quality client materials with limited supervision.
• Strong knowledge of debt financing, capital markets, balance sheet solutions, and Corporate & Investment Banking products.
• Strong financial analysis, accounting, valuation, credit assessment, compliance, regulatory, and KYC skills.
• Highly proficient spoken and written German and fluent English required.
