R & D Solution Architect Digital Clinical Development Operations

What you will do

• Lead the design and implementation of solutions for digital clinical operations in alignment with architecture strategy and governance standards.
• Work with business stakeholders, clinical experts, service lines, and program leaders to define requirements and clinical technology strategy.
• Design scalable, robust, interoperable, and reusable services while simplifying existing architecture and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
• Provide architecture leadership for clinical development projects and ensure alignment with business processes.
• Evaluate product usefulness and cost during supplier selection and manage vendor relationships.
• Create current-state and target-state architecture roadmaps and establish technology standards for the clinical development domain.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of experience in Solution Architecture and extensive experience designing, developing, and optimizing IT solutions.
• Understanding of clinical-domain processes and workflows, IT technologies, data types, and ontologies in R&D.
• Experience with application design, integration, architecture, DevOps, and compliance of computerized systems.
• Experience with Snowflake, GitHub, IICS, Python, OpenShift, React, SQL, AWS, and Azure.
• Experience with GxP, HIPAA, and GDPR regulations and their application to IT solution design and implementation.
• Bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a similar field; English required.
