Action Officer, Senior

Location: Chantilly, Virginia, United States; onsite

Salary: $150,300–$183,600 per year; range applies to Virginia.

What you will do

• Direct and oversee the receipt, assignment, tracking, response, and closure of internal and external actions.
• Manage TIER actions, the customer correspondence handbook, action-tracking systems, metrics, status reports, and standard operating procedures.
• Draft, proofread, edit, consolidate, and quality-control executive correspondence, presentations, point papers, briefings, and other documentation.
• Coordinate responses with divisions, branches, senior executives, internal and external agencies, and mission partner offices.
• Lead or participate in DAG meetings, TIER meetings, committees, integrated process teams, working groups, and task forces.
• Develop and deliver TIER, Action Officer, and customer correspondence training while streamlining DAG support functions.

Requirements

• Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance with an adjudicated polygraph is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business-related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
• 10 or more years of experience within the Intelligence Community or Department of Defense.
• Experience with federal acquisitions, DoD or IC budget and finance processes, or national security policy.
• Experience in systems engineering or project/program management, working with senior executives, and using Microsoft Office.
• Multiple years of demonstrated experience with TIER, along with experience mentoring, facilitating, or delivering training.
