Supply Chain Assurance Coordinator (Defence)

What you will do

• Coordinate supply chain assurance activities, including audits, reviews, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Monitor subcontractor performance against contractual requirements, service levels, quality standards, and safety expectations.
• Identify, assess, and support mitigation of supply chain risks affecting program delivery.
• Maintain assurance records, performance reports, and compliance documentation.
• Support the onboarding and ongoing management of subcontractors and supply chain partners.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and suppliers on governance, information sharing, reporting, and assurance deliverables.

Requirements

• Active Baseline Defence Security Clearance or higher is required and must be maintained.
• Tertiary qualification in supply chain management, logistics, business, procurement, project management, quality management, or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
• Experience in supply chain, logistics, procurement, subcontractor management, or assurance within a complex or regulated environment.
• Knowledge of supply chain governance, risk management, and performance monitoring principles.
• Strong analytical, written, verbal communication, and stakeholder relationship-building skills.
• Compliance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) is required.

Nice to have

• Experience in Defence or a regulated engineering, maritime, aerospace, or sustainment environment.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, SAP or other ERP systems, and ISO standards.
