Powder Coat and Fabrication Lead (Third Shift) (Manufacturing)

Location: Jacksonville, Florida, United States; third-shift, shop/warehouse-based role.

What you will do

• Execute daily production priorities, set fabrication schedules, and report progress to support plant assembly lines.
• Maintain powder coating equipment, systems, chemicals, treatments, filters, and safety supplies.
• Track water, chemical, and powder usage for environmental compliance and manage operating materials.
• Stage parts through the powder coating process and maintain quality standards for finished products.
• Supervise fabrication of metal, copper, phenolic, and other parts for low- and medium-voltage switchboard and switchgear assemblies.
• Train designated personnel, enforce company procedures, and develop solutions to production problems.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; a four-year college or technical degree is preferred, or three years of relevant experience.
• Experience in a metal fabrication shop using mechanical equipment and experience operating a paint line.
• Experience operating industrial CNC fabrication equipment, including shears, turret punches, press brakes, bus bar cutters, and punch/forming machines.
• Ability to interpret mechanical fabrication drawings, metal flats, and SolidWorks packages.
• Team leadership, employee training, communication, motivation, and process improvement skills.
• Ability to work onsite in Jacksonville, Florida, including a non-climate-controlled shop/warehouse environment and frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds.
