Director, Securities Lending Trading Platform Strategy & Business Management (AI)

Location: New York, NY; hybrid work with regular in-person collaboration.

Salary: USD $200,000–$350,000 per year, plus bonus or incentive opportunities.

What you will do

• Lead business management and strategic execution for the stock borrow and securities lending trading platform.
• Coordinate initiatives across trading, operations, technology, analytics, treasury, risk, and finance.
• Define business requirements and maintain roadmaps for trading technology, automation, analytics, AI, and workflow enhancements.
• Develop automated trading capabilities covering bid logic, pricing behavior, exception handling, workflow controls, and trader oversight.
• Partner with analytics, modeling, engineering, AI, product, technology, and external vendor teams to deliver platform improvements.
• Build KPIs, dashboards, operating reviews, executive presentations, and reporting packages for senior leadership.

Requirements

• University degree from a well-respected academic institution.
• 8+ years of systems development life cycle experience in investment management, including defining and documenting specifications.
• 10+ years of relevant experience leading a business analyst team in investment management.
• Ability to analyze technology needs, recommend solutions, work with developers, test completed code, and support implementation.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, debugging, QA, and methodology skills.
• Working knowledge of Agile Framework and deep understanding of the securities finance market structure and industry.
