Launch Program Manager (Drones)

Location: Sausalito, United States; on-site

Salary: $120,000–$220,000 per year

What you will do

• Own customer launches from commercial handoff through operational readiness and ongoing-operations handoff.
• Build integrated launch plans covering milestones, dependencies, owners, risks, and critical paths.
• Coordinate aircraft readiness, shipping, site preparation, storage, charging infrastructure, connectivity, maintenance spaces, tools, and spare parts.
• Manage regulatory, aviation, airspace, site, agency, and local approvals with relevant experts.
• Lead customer onboarding, operator and maintainer training, deployment, commissioning, and initial operations.
• Create and maintain a scalable launch playbook with checklists, readiness gates, templates, and lessons learned.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in program management, customer deployment, field operations, implementation, or a similar role.
• Experience launching complex physical products or systems at customer sites.
• Strong cross-functional planning, risk management, execution, customer communication, and judgment.
• Ability to turn ambiguous objectives into detailed, actionable plans with strong ownership and follow-through.
• Comfort working in a fast-moving environment where the product and launch process are evolving.
• Willingness to travel regularly to customer locations.

Nice to have

• Experience in aviation, drones, robotics, public safety, emergency response, regulatory coordination, technical training, or charging infrastructure.
